• Minus points!!

  Problems with Value House are as follows:- Very poor location. This is mainly to do with the parked cars along Camp Road and beyond. So in reality, in buisier times, it becomes single lane traffic. Also, I do think it is shocking that only once you arrive with your full basket or trolley to the checkout you have to actually ask for bags & then you are told they are chargeable!!. Totally wrong in my opinion. Finally, opening hours!!......Due to the above mentioned traffic problems & especially at this time of year surely it makes sense to open later than 5.30pm??. Not only would it be quieter along the road in & out but also due to the fact that most people, like me, shop AFTER they finish work. I would definately use it alot more if the above points were addressed as it does have a good stock selection and the Pet Shop part is excellent.

  I am a very regular visitor as i live on the same road. I go up there to get anything from sweets and Monster (energy drink) and stuff for family. the only concern i have is that the Monster is getting more pricey because i remember when value house opened and they were 99p ! probably the cheapest in Weymouth !

• Great store with potential

  Hi, I am a regular customer at Weymouth Value House and I really enjoy shopping there. Plenty of anything and everything to choose from and all at a good price. I would like to mention the layout of the store regarding the situation of the cafe. I do believe the amount of customers would double or even triple if there were windows which overlooked that beautiful coastline in which the store is situated and so lucky to have! It is a fantastic view and I only wish I could have a cupa or ten looking out to sea!! The site in which value house is standing has massive potential. I would love to hear the managements view on this (no pun intended!)
