An oasis of gastronomic happyness in an otherwise rather barren foodie landscape. The Museum Inn is super popular and after a few visits there I can see why. The food is tasty, adventurous and worth going back for.The pub surroundings are charming in the small village of Farnham, Dorset. And the pub itself is quite a treat with a bar warmed by a roaring fire. From here sprout off a number of different dining rooms to suit your style. Apparently one of the rooms is a table-clothed 'posh' area (same menu), there is a barn style room and a classic rustic gastro-pub style relaxed eating area where I have been both times.I had plump mussels in a delicious cider sauce and then had baby skate.Apparently the management has just changed two months back but it seems to generally be the same friendly staff, attitude and standard.Worth booking.
