    Nestled in the heart of the original Poundbury in Pummer y Square The Poet Laureate is the only pub based in Prince Charles Poundbury. There is a good range of seating indoors and in the summer outdoors and a couple of comfortable sofas in the corner for that truly relaxed cup or coffee or chilled glass of wine. The menu available is crammed with locally sourced Food. A Lunches and bar menu available all day and a separate Restaurant menu for those requiring something more substantial. Good selection of Alcoholic Drinks and Tea, Coffee etc. The staff are always friendly and polite and service is generally quick. Live Music and events throughout the year which bring in a good crowd.
