• Maintained to a high standard and great facilities

  Weymouth swimming pool is a well maintained swimming pool and Gym. This is a very nice place to visit if your into your fitness and the costing is pretty good as well.The Pool is kept very clean at all times and there are several people supervising the pools.There are 2 pools available. The large pool (which is very cold and 2m deep) and the small pool (which is warm and not very deep).The large pool is great for keen swimmers and allows for a good amount of space to swim your lengthsI personally use the Gym as this offers all the facilities you would expect from a Gym, plus more. If you are new to the Gym then there is always a friendly face available to help you develop your body.The small pool is nice for the kids as its heavily supervised so if you have kids then you can go in the large pool knowing your children will be safe.Other areas that are looked after very well include the changing rooms, which include bench areas to get changed, lockers to lock up your valuables and nice warm showers to wash after a swimming session. If you fancy a bite to eat after a swimming session then there is not really much available apart from a vending machine with a selection of crisps and chocolate, oh and a coffee/tea/chocolate making machine which is nice to warm up the body.Weymouth swimming pool is about 15 minutes walk from the town bridge and situated on the centre of the marsh (also known as the playing fields).

• nice facilities

  I really enjoy going to Weymouth swimming pool, as there is a really good gym with lots of new machines to try out on.The main swimming pool can be really cold, and this is a down side as I find I don’t stay in the water very long due to frost bite.The children’s swimming pool is lovely and warm, and it would be great if the main swimming pool was the same temperature.The changing rooms are spacious and there are lockers for you to use for security, also there are vending machines to choose from if you get peckish or thirsty after swimming.
