This is my favourite Local Pub in the Area. The atmosphere is great all year around. In the winter a huge log fire is always roaring and the summer there are plenty of tables or benches outside (with Umbrellas and heaters). This pub offers a cavery everyday of the week all year around and quite frankly the best in the area! The food is always hot and very reasonably priced for the portion size. The rest of the menu is varied always offering something local or a freshly caught fish dish.Good range of Drinks and local beers. This pub is always busy so if you want a sunday roast I would advise you to book!

The Sun Inn is one of the nicest places I've visited as far as exterior is concerned. The building has a lovely character with flowers hanging from the doors. The location is just outside of Dorchester at Lower Burton and is set in a countryside location with beautiful green grass and trees. This pub is family run by a lady named Lucy, her family, and several staff members. They are all very nice and welcoming.Meals are beautifully cooked and can be eaten inside or outside, depending on the whether. But its really nice to sit outside with a cold drink and meal during a nice summer day (if we ever get one again that is). There is an extensive selection from meaty food to vegetarian food, they cater for all requirements.Ample room to park your car considering this pub is not really local to the built up area. Finally, there is a play area for children which is quite useful.
